Float takes second place in parade

Central Presbyterian Church took second place in the float division for the 2007 Tarentum Brackenridge Holiday Parade.

The float featured decorations from our 2007 Vacation Bible School with five of the children who had attended the VBS riding in it. Marsha Lokar and Kathy Lynn walked alongside the float, while Jack Berringer drove the truck that pulled it. Verne and Robin Bergstrom provided the space in their garage for assembling the float. Thanks to all who helped this happen!

The picture below shows the float while it waited in line for the parade to start.
